I'm torn. I can see where you're coming from but there are exceptions:
Celery is a perfectly acceptable delivery vessel for hummus
Though it is annoyingly allergenic compared to carrots or peppers which also taste better.
Huh, I never knew one could be allergic to celery.

I'm sure there's a hummus that's delicious enough for you to eat it off a toilet seat. That doesn't mean toilets (or celery) are food.

That's how I've proven celery is clearly a food, even if inferior. Now, I've submitted you got the tesseract ban list and will refuse all further discourse on the matter.
