The track is just not very fit for the jazz genre, since it's mostly rather monotone both in the instrumental and vocal parts. I guess one could make it explicitly chill protracted minimal jazz, but that's not what's done here.
Player's (Amon Tobin's) ‘Angel of Theft’ is better just because it adds stuff so it certainly doesn't need more.
