Possibly a hot take, but I don't think that everything should be covered by retro-styled bands with horn sections.
This seems to get popular again every five years or so. Scott Bradley Postmodern Jukebox that was popular like (fuck me) 10 or 12 years ago still tours occasionally. Then there was the sad clown dude who went viral on one of the talent shows maybe 5 or 6 years ago. Seems about right for another revival.
It's jarring, the style change.
