Officeworkers find it too hard to write bullshit reports and drag and drop presentations using default templates. AI was meant to make it easier for them to create the slop no one reads or refers to after the initial meeting.
But now using AI is TOO HARD because people don't read what it says and can forget to hit the Enter key.
Sharing here because when I saw this it pissed me off so much. I can't believe there are people out there like this.

Remember the time you thought you had constructed the perfect prompt. Given Claude all that you think it needed to produce that killer slide deck. And you hit submit, thinking you’d come back to find the finished deck, ready to roll.
Then you came back to the computer just to find it asking “Here’s the plan, are you happy with it before I go ahead?”
If only you had that power in your pocket, you could have typed “yes, go ahead” while you were in that meeting that could have been a Teams chat.
It must be exhausting being these people if they're having this much difficulty sitting in front of a computer
They spend to much time talking about doing stuff but never actually doing anything.
It's true. One of the big AI shills at work got assigned to something I needed done. In my support ticket I said "Here is everything you need in the correct csv and with the right character encoding".
They must have not read the ticket because the first thing they did was upload the exact same template and said "put everything you need in this template".
It was like, bro, I've already done all of that for you. I said so
it's probably best for everyone if they don't do anything
Doing anything is hurting their aspirations of being in management and hiding behind delegating. Its always people who come from privileged backgrounds who legit refuse to do any work at all and love ai because they can delegate to it and pretend to be a little manager before they inevitably get promoted into being a real manager.
This is basically my entire team though we have like 2 people who actually do work while everyone else watches and generates ai powerpoints to waste my time then ask why im not delivering faster.
