It's not that I think Odysseus should be emotionless, just that a version of Odysseus who gets a happy ending can't be one who cares about his victims or has an extremely Christian, post-Roman concept of honor. Odysseus can't live happily ever after if he's not a piece of shit, but in this movie he gets to be both a righteous person and a war criminal with the moral consequences of that handwaved at the end.

Oh yeah, I agree. It was more of a reply to Dort_Owl, because I thought it was funny and very on brand for chuds to complain about the emotional aspect instead of the morality. They get to watch a story in which war crimes have no consequences, and they're still upset.
