I was at the protests that took place in Delhi today.

The main agenda was to seek the resignation of the Education Minister who presided over like 70 exam related leaks in the past few years. Although my personal agenda was anti-fascism.

The main goal was to reach from Jantar Mantar(Protest site) to the Parliament. This is actually illegal as per Indian law and any gatherings with more than 4 people are a punishable offense in this area. So we expected Tear Gas and Batons.

The government had barricaded the entire route beforehand and brought in thousands of pigs to enforce their tyranny. Additionally, they had a lot of agitators whose sole purpose was to incite violence to justify police violence on protestors who were mostly actual kids or teenagers(~20 y/o).

I didn't participate in the frontline because I went alone. I mostly stayed around the sidelines and dipped when shit started going down.

The BJP did set up a bunch of "surprises" early on.

Then as the march began, they launched a series of violent acts against kids fighting for their rights. I'll list some notable incidents:

Overall I had fun. I didn't expect this many people to show up at all. Felt like a dream.

BJP completely lost their 12 years worth of online narrative today. People set aside the state sanctioned hopelessness and fought for freedom.

A bunch of Marxist Orgs were also present here organizing and have been helping the protest organize for some weeks now. I'll probably align with them in future protests.
