We can't forget that projection is a coping mechanism. However, when we look at the way the West has waged war both in the past and today, despite there being ''rules of warfare'', it becomes clear that the ones holding back are the Global South. If we resist in any way, or if we're Russia defending ourselves, their media demonizes us and makes up atrocity propaganda, like with our Iranian family. It's a classic ''rules for thee but not for me''. So who's fighting with their hands tied now?
