Looking at it again, I think the keurig would be patsocs, not trotskyists.

Not sure what trotskyists would be... probably a giant moka pot.

Also there's another brewing method: the cezve / turkish coffee.

trots have to be whatever the most pretentious way of making coffee is, but the trick is that they're always trying to one-up each other and find the next new and most pretentious method of coffee making.

I'd say patsocs are people that take coffee grounds and pack it in their lip like it's tobacco dip because they're real manly men who don't need to liberal toys to get their coffee fix
