MODERATORS
"Accidental" and "conspiracy" aren't the only alternatives. You don't need to start a conspiracy with someone this easy to manipulate. You just nudge them in the direction you want them to go.
A big reason why there probably isn't any conspiracy is that Trump would have blathered about it if there was one.
Yeah, that's true, except possibly if there was something that would destroy him. If they had hard evidence of crimes that even his base wouldn't swallow. He'd shut up about that.
