"Less asshole" Can we talk about the Uyghurs and the Falun Gong? Or how about they are in a current full country ethnic cleanse to make everyone Han?

You have to be a sick person to think we are worse than the ccp.
How many millions died in the Middle East because of the US in the last fifty years? And how many Falun Gong and Uighurs and Tibetans died because of China in the same time?
Compare those numbers, mate. You may be surprised.
How many did mao kill? And his disastrous policy are still screwing up china to this day.

Then add in the rest you posted...
You did not look it up, did you? We're talking about today. Which country is worse for the world today?
If you want to bring up Mao, I could bring up Kissinger and Nixon's bombings of Laos, or the obliteration of the cities in the Korean War, or the United Fruit Company.
See, I did not even mention South America in my question about the last fifty years. Look at the numbers, honestly compare. There have been millions of deaths in the Middle East from the US wars there. Sanctions have killed millions more. You have to realise that this actually happened if you want to honestly understand why people might see the US on the same level as China. It did not start with Trump.
I do acknowledge Mao's killings, the killings of intellectuals and landlords and ethnic minorities who refused to submit, and dissidents who died in camps, and pregnant women given forced abortions, and gay people imprisoned for deviancy.
However, that was not the point of this discussion. The point is that things have changed.
The US is seen as the monster now, because it is more dangerous to other countries than China.
Also, China's repression has slowed down a lot, so the increasing repression in the USA is alarming everyone who used to see the US as a reliable if warlike friend.
Tell me when the US ever had a Tiananmen Square Massacre?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1989_Tiananmen_Square_protests_and_massacre
All of china's killings are monstrous and comparing the US to it is insanity.
I love china, been there more than once, I love the people they are so nice! But I fucking hate the ccp for what they have done to their own and everyone else.
Hopefully they punt winnie the lame pooh so I can go back and visit some friends.
Are these enough?

P.S. Fuck China and Fuck USA.
50+ million and counting? C'mon the US sucks at china's massacre game.
Who is more or less of an asshole is a subjective question.
Theres no question that the Chinese are assholes, but are they moreso than the US?
In the last few years the US has not only abandoned any semblance of a response to climate change, but they've doubled down on open hostility to renewable projects. As a global leader, this provides cover to every other country who can point to the US as a wealthy greenhouse gas emitter and say "what's the point of us reducing our emissions when the US is actively increasing theirs?"
Would you like to talk about how much harm this will cause in the coming decades? What is the death toll likely to be, and how many people are going to be subjected to poverty and displaced due to famine?
The other salient issue is the current energy instability due to Trump's belligerence with Iran. In the US it might just cost more to fill up your car with fuel. Theres a lot of regions in south East asia, where most fuel from the strait of Hormuz goes, that are enduring completely unnecessary energy crisis right now.
Would you like to talk about how many farms cant afford fertiliser because of US arrogance and what the impact of that might be in the coming months? Or perhaps what it might be line to have a small restaurant who simply can not buy LPG due to shortages?
Finally, with the US breathless support of Israel theres no moral high-sounding to be had by pointing to China's human rights abuses.
Growing up in Australia in the 90s the US was always "bigger and better", now you're just assholes.
No one cares about your whataboutism.
Kinda ridiculous to call it whataboutism when that's the point of the entire article, comparing the two.
Though yes, the US is fucked right now.
