My parents found these in my deceased uncle's garage without any useful accompanying information. He was a bit of a hoarder, but usually of only free things, not known for purchasing antiques

Well, shit. Now I want my curtains hanging on swing arms. Compared to that, sliding hanging rings on a horizontal pole just seems primitive.

Does the tip pull out to slide on the curtain? And so it can be rotated so both match?
