Album credits don't mention any guitarist, only James Wirrick in instruments. I guess he played it? https://sylvesterofficial.com/discography/call-me/

I think especially the second solo is pretty good, thought maybe some big guitar name from those days had played it.

Makes sense yeah. I just was a bit surprised like you, that it said the guy played all the instruments :D I guess he really was/is that good! He barely registers in online search but I found this interview of him.
