Even the most strict authoritarian states aren't monocultural. Whenever two or more people get together, shit happens. There's nothing wrong with criticising cultural elements that are obviously harmful (like mutilating childrens genitalia to mark them as followers of an ancient semitic bronze age storm god for example), but disregarding "other" culture as a whole is just uninformed.
Even when it was 100% British in Australia, the English hated the Irish, the Welsh hated the English, and the Scottish hated everyone.
Then on the religion side, which was 100% Christian, the Catholics, Anglicans , Baptists etc all hated each other.
I can't even imagine what her vision for a Utopian monoculture ever was orever could be. It's a racist fantasy.
