Western media keeps talking about the property crisis in China. What they really mean is that ordinary people being able to afford housing is a disaster. In a properly functioning Western economy, ordinary people cannot afford housing. Only wealthy investors get to own homes. Ordinary people must be priced out of the property market so that wealthy investors can maximize their wealth.
