For the 10th anniversary of the October revolution some steel workers from dynamo presented the party with a massive sword that was never to be sheathed until the entire world bourgeoisie had been vanquished. I tried to find out what happened to it but if the answer is out there it's in russian, I just really want to know if it still exists in some warehouse or something or if it got melted down during the war because it sounds pretty cool.

Lol I just tried to find out using AI it confidently told me that its at the State Historical Muesum in Moscow as a source it gave a random chabad zionist article about that museum that doesn't mention the sword at all, when challenged it admitted it hallucinated and there's no verifiable historical record of where it went

But probably not the craziest guess if its still around

Maybe it is in some Jewish temple or museum, locked away and forgotten.

I am absolutely not advocating for some Raiders of the Lost Arc type stuff.

I would watch the hell out of an anime where some dude with a farmer mech discovers the legendary Com-tana and wields it in revolt against the Neo-feudalist oligarchs sicko-wistful

I Was An Investment Banker Thrown Into Another World Where I Am A Vagabond Swordsman And My Sentient Sword Thirsts For The Blood Of The Bourgeoisie might get an anime adaptation eventually

Probably gathering dust in some oligarchs trophy room if it still exists depressingly.

Do you have any sources on this story? This will occupy my mind all day now.

I heard it in Kotkin's Stalin Volume 1 (Don't judge me I was listening to it so I knew what to argue about with a friend who was listening to it), sadly I dont have the citation if there is one since it was an audiobook format.
