For future reference, Roll Call has the text as well as screenshots of all of his social media posts. Unfortunately, the search function is absolute dogwater (it searches for posts that contain any of the words in your search, not all, and you can't use double quotes to search for exact matches), which seems like a huge missed opportunity for a searchable database, but if it's a recent post or has a fairly unique word in it (e.g. "gash" in this post), it shouldn't be too hard to find.
Text of post
Of the MANY Statues and Fountains that we rebuilt, renovated, cleaned, and fixed, the only one that was Vandalized was the Reflecting Pool, which is being taken care of, ASAP! It has been given a 300 foot long gash, chemicals have been illegally placed in the water, and the beautiful new grass field has been destroyed with a gigantic 86 47 chemically carved into it (Probably inspired by Dirty Cop, James Comey!). Please remember that there is a 10 year prison sentence for the destruction, or even the attempted destruction, of such things - Which will be fully enforced! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJTThanks.

I'll never understand that. Sites should at least provide that. Not having that simple functionality is so stupid.
ty!
Can’t be as bad as the hexbear search function that returns everything with any of the string of characters you searched for regardless of where it appears in a word, resulting in a search containing the word “is” returning every comment that has any instance of the letter i being followed by the letter s
Yeah, the Lemmy search function is unfortunately pretty lacking, especially if you don't have a really unique word or two to search for. God help you if one of the words is used in the boilerplate of a recurring megathread...
But hey, I haven't contributed a single line of code to Lemmy, so I can't complain too much.
