Yeah, a great many trans folk (particularly trans women) are very much engaged in a war of survival. Jk Rowling is essentially an enemy propagandist with enough money to buy hormones for all the out trans people in Europe and north America for 10 years.
Whether or not it's mentally healthy is beside the point. She's a fucking children's author with more money than god who uses her obscene wealth to bully one of the most marginalised groups of people and encourage their persecution. I would not be surprised if her vitriol has directly lead to a few suicides or murders.
So yeah, wanting her to end her own life is perfectly reasonable and understandable.

On principle I agree that wishing someone would take their own life is not healthy, but there are exceptions to every rule. There are probably quite a few people here who have lost someone close to them because of bullying by people like Rowling. Not to mention that people like her have turned occasional acts of aggression and ridicule by particularly nasty people into institutionalised violence and persecution. She has contributed to making transphobia a default government position in many previously tolerant countries (at least more so than today). And as the self appointed queen of the transphobes, she deserves to reap what she sows.

Of course your but is just contradiction to you saying you accept wishing people would take their own is mentally unhealthy; meaning you believe it's okay to celebrate "kys posts".
If you want carve outs and exceptions go for it, I make people lose their shit as a hobby (lose their shit over what they believe). I just moved on because I got tired of seeing men struggle to communicate and to be honest with themselves.
Men get mad over the stuff they can't do and don't do the stuff the can do like seek help or give help. These "kys posts" just are actually harmful and isolating

This goes way beyond a difference of opinion for one of the groups involved. Genuinely if this was just some rich skank arguing about immigration policy or healthcare reforms or something nobody would support killing her. But the vast majority of people here hate her more than you hate deodorant and soap. She's spouting rhetoric that's directly inciting violence against us.

I don't want to argue with any trans community. If you read my post I'm trying to get these 196 Lemmy communities to actually help each other.
But you and everyone else is putting it on your grandpa's life/grave that there's nothing wrong with liking and celebrating "kys posts"
But you and the rest of this community with I think 2 exceptions (at minimum) proven to be a cesspool of hate and hostility and I actually enjoy saying that to your face and I'll enjoy it more if you took my warning and start a journey towards positive behavior
