I have been thinking about social clubs lately. A place to get affordable food, see some music, and talk to people. It can be a place for union events as well as just a hang out. I think encouraging things like that would be a huge boon to modern leftism.

Where I am we have once a month dance parties hosted by DSA. They are pretty fun.

Church in my city does this (I've never gone, but!) I heard the basement is always popping, they have a kitchen and serve hot food for pretty cheap and people just have a good time and talk to each other, might go there this weekend lol.

Yeah, it's pretty common for churches. Of course there are things like bars and country clubs as well. I think leftists need to be engaging in those spaces, or creating explicitly leftist versions.
