They will probably just use to opportunity to run away during while.... delivering a baby? why the fuck would they need handcuffs?!
The shit thing is they do it for Psychological reasons not practical. Most people don't need it and don't resist bit the Prosecutors use it to influence the jury as seeing someone in cuffs makes them seem more dangerous.
Innocent until convinced guilty. Do the few guys who get trialed for economic crimes stand there in an orange jumpsuit with cuffs on?
Oh yeah I'm so afraid she's gonna hit me with her newborn infant! Maybe slime me with blood and mucus as well! You better slap cuffs on that baby right away, they're slippery little fellas!
