I think they prefer winter. Also the noses stay all year round.
May I ask what breed this is? A bright nose can be a genetic thing. Some noses get brighter in the winter due to the lack of UV rays, which produce melatonin. This is the case for my Swiss White Shepherd
Siberians. They can also have it, but these girls just have pigment of this color.
