MODERATORS
Bothans were involved with Death Star II, not the first one.
I remember playing X-Wing: Alliance and there was a mission where you had to protect a Bothan shuttle. The game was set in the time between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Oh shit, you're right. I misremembered that as a line from a new hope.
