Oh I can actually answer this one. And nah. That's not why you guys are being told you are brigading.

But think of it this way. Every community on the internet has its own culture. Small ones even more so. And Lemmy is full of small communities which is great.

Suddenly your five person community starts getting bombarded with people from another instance that all seem to have a very different culture and it totally kills the conversation that was happening there before.

That's the complaint people are having about hexbear. You are entirely entitled to your own little echo chamber on the internet.

But you guys. I'm assuming unintentionally are sprouting those ideas outside of it in much smaller communities. Completely overwhelming the local discourse.

You gotta be more mindful of it if you don't want to kill smaller communities.
