If you wanted to make fashy gamers get as frothy as possible, I think you'd want something with really shiny realistic-ish graphics, a well-trodden genre that doesn't challenge preconceptions of what a game can be (you know, like an ARPG or a souls-like), and a black trans woman as the protagonist.

Like I don't think you really need to go that deep on Marxist themes or whatever (I mean, by all means do, but do it for the love of the game), you just need to make the sort of thing the gamers feel like they're entitled to, but put a reminder that minorities exist in the way of enjoying it.
