If you wouldn't say it to someone else, why say it to yourself? Why don't you deserve the same grace everyone else does? Explain without sounding like all the miserable, invalidating people you have had in your life.
No one is born with that kind of self-loathing. Be kind to yourself! You, too, deserve it. If you're reading this thinking "no I don't", if it feels viscerally repulsive, then I'm speaking especially to you, here.
(Also: that's adorable. Love catching someone having a little snooze.)
