Theres some early mystery science theatre episodes where they cover the English versions of the early Gamera movies and there's a skit im one where the robots meet Gamera (played by a guy in a cardboard suit) and they chit chat a little. Joel comes in adter and asks whats up and they say they met Gamera and he was a really nice guy.
