MODERATORS
A bit more like Franco's Falangist arrows symbol with some imagination.
Went to look at the previous design and then encountered this from 1936!
No mistaking what that is.
Unfortunately from what I've learned of the US relation to fascism before during and after WW2 I have to say I'm not shocked.
There are also fasces on the fronts of the armrests on the Lincoln memorial statue.
Didn't know that.
Used by Mussolini in 1919, just before completion of the statue.
