UFC and MMA is chud central. All the tech bro CEO’s take MMA classes as if their scrawny asses will be able to take down anybody who has more than 10 pounds on them
Zuck is a legit BJJ blue belt. That's not to say that he's a killing machine but he does compete at blue belt and he does as well as you would expect any hobbyist to, honestly. That's not to say he is a virtuous person because he can out-grapple most people within 40 lbs of him who have no grappling experience, but it's not all make believe.
The UFC does attract a lot of chuds, that's for sure. People who train MMA are usually more personally "apolitical" than you would think from my experience, but it certainly attracts people with issues with toxic masculinity, homophobia/transphobia, and right-wing ideas that associate violence with virtue.
Mostly speaking from what I see at the local gym. MMA guys are almost always some weird flavor of right-wing while boxing tends to be more apolitical. I notice the same thing with CrossFit versus powerlifting.
People online, leftist or otherwise, have a weird obsession over size often using weirdly eugenicist language
A decerly trained fighter will destroy someone 10 pounds heavier and 4 inches taller than them
I’m aware. I’m trained in martial arts myself. Apparently Zuck is a little more disciplined than I gave him credit for but in my head I imagined them taking classes every so often and never building off of it. When that’s the foundation than yes size (weight moreso) will make a difference
