Seems like they skipped the part of the Armageddon storyline where the entire world goes to shit and becomes a fire and brimstone hellscape plagued by demons torturing everybody that doesnt get evacuated by Jesus beforehand or whatever
Christian fundamentalist Day of the Rope
That's where their particularly heinous brand of cult thinking comes in. According to their interpretation of a very few specific verses, the US will be spared if it's a "Christian kingdom" at the time of Armageddon.
