A very strange instinct, although I'll say from a practical point of view I understand why AI is being used to make this - because it's something that doesn't/can't really exist outside of AI fantasies. Kind of like how Hentai is the realm of vore and giant fetishes and all that.

What I don't understand at all however is people using AI to make normal porn... trained on normal porn videos. Like... just watch the normal and real videos... You're spending time and money to get a computer generated version of something that already exists and is very easy to access.

It's like doing a Zoom call in your kitchen and green screening your background to your living room, when you could just go sit in your living room.

I can see why people are using AI but I still don't think they should; Computer animation is arguable good enough at this point that you could probably just make something fairly realistic that covers the kink without the giant environment destroying data center. And the end product would be art deliberately created by a human, not AI slop.

I agree that it's a terrible use of resources but the reality is that if I wanted to make something myself using traditional computer animation it would take me months and look twice as shit. If your objective in the moment is just sexual gratification then why would you bother commissioning someone.

Just putting up a greenscreen of the adjacent room or something could be a piece of performance art

I guess they like feeling like they’re the “director” of their smut.
