Agree, it sounds like he just followed a moral impulse and suddenly there's eyes all over him, which unless you're the kind of person who craves that (and he doesn't strike me as that type but that could be my misperception), can't be fun to deal with. Hopefully the positive attention outweighs the negative and he's getting some reprieve from it all as needed/wanted.
