Couple of guys at work don't drink tea. They're alright, but in my heart of hearts I'll never truly trust their opinion on anything.

What's worse, someone who doesn't drink tea or someone who makes a terrible cuppa?

My old boss would reuse the same teabag for several cups throughout the day. At some point, it would cease to be tea, fulfilling both criteria - not drinking tea and making a bad cuppa, all in one go.

Americans seem to have no middleground with tea, either it's entirely neglected to the point of dark comedy, or we take it too seriously and make it weird. I at least manage not to be the former.

The "taking it seriously" American thing I noticed is to have a drawer full of compartments with tea in individual little packets by the bag.

(and I'm sure you get told this a lot, but I love your username)

Thanks lol

Those cubby holes are pretty weird, feel like they belong in a shop. I'm a bit extra with my tea in that I buy the bougie stuff, make my own essential oil infusions, and have a massive 2 litre teapot and frequently use it with a candlelight warmer.

Sometime try mixing black tea with cinnamon and orange essential oils. Let it dry a few days and it makes a tea that'll keep you warm and taste sweet with no milk or honey!

I don't drink tea (or at least only very rarely) but being able to make it is an essential skill.
