I used to work at panera, they always have leftover soups at the end of the shift that you either put back in the freezer or throw away.

There was one day there was 1 spoonful of broccoli and cheddar soup left at the end of the day. I went in and scooped it out, ate that shit.

Manager was walking by and told me to meet him at the register and he charged me for a full cup's worth. I quit not long after that.

Got paid $8 an hour and served hundreds of customers during lunch rush who each paid like $12 on average, and they didn't even pay for our meals.
