How are you living in PR, shitting on bad bunny, calling him a fake citizen and not getting shot?

[-] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 37 points 1 day ago

My dad wants to machete him good

No joking, he went on a tirade about whitey ruining the island and said we should chop their heads off

My dad is cool

He lives in some shithole in gringolandia aka dorado. I’m not actually that surprised because I know there’s plenty of tax evaders and bootlickers in the island. Just kind of speaking from my own experience as a regular person. If I trashed bad bunny, women would flay me and I would never get laid again. If I called any prican a non citizen, the boomers would kill my whole family.

Just don’t see the point of living in pr and not some other tax haven. You can’t really enjoy anything about except your plot of dogshit and money saved in taxes, but then again these leeches are barely human

besides being settler trash who get a kick out of expropriating stolen land, i imagine it's a nouveau riche thing. old money would go to a proper tax haven elsewhere in the caribbean or europe, but poor Jake is classless and doesn't know anybody. or other languages besides english. take this with a heap of salt i just learned this guy and his brother are separate people ITT

Given how many crypto and crypto-adjacent ~~scams~~ “ventures” the Paul bros are involved in and PR’s nascent crypto-haven status I’m guessing they’re not there for their love of the culture.

They are there for its tax laws, where mainlanders pay far less tax than islanders. It is a tax haven first, and the crypto stuff just follows. I think Jake Paul pays about 3-4% income tax, compared to the average on the island being closer to 30%

The law slashing taxes for mainlanders who relocate was passed to "promote investment" in the Puerto Rican economy, which basically is jet fuel for the pillaging and exploitation of the island and its people.
