So I had the misfortune of hearing a joe rogan podcast the other day. It was quite insufferable before I even knew who it was. They were talking about some cool science stuff for a couple minutes, then spent the next half hour bashing the scientific community and making ad hominem arguments about them. Sponsored by a gambling app. For fucks sake, talk about the science thing more damnit!
Many years ago I sometimes got stuck in a work truck with a guy who would play nothing but conservative bullshit radio, and it was insufferable.
Nothing but a non-stop stream of hate and bile and misinformation, and so many ads for products I would be embarrassed to be seen buying.
