Anyone else watching A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms? (hexbear.net)

I have been liking it a lot. Just all of it really, but especially the two protagonists. The little boy who plays Egg is going to have a hell of an acting career ahead of him. He really steals every single scene especially with his emotive range for such a young actor. Dunk is also great in that humdrum naive farm boy aspiring to be a hedge knight way but his performance is far more subdued. Together their performances compliment each other wonderfully.

i wasn't planning on it, but ended up getting into it. i like it and the general focus on the lives of the "smallfolk". haven't read the books for this and like not knowing where its going, but i might after this season.

i like the focusing on the perspective of relatable people of limited means living their lives. i was pretty blase about the dragon stories. the lifestyles and dramas of the rich and shameless does little for me.
