Interesting, although that was one of the most aggravating introductions to a pop-scientific article I've ever read. I kept waiting for the author to proceed with: "But wait, there's more! We've made a list of the five most curious things of the Cambrian, and you'll never believe what..."

Actually, the whole article is like that.

Yeah, the Reuter’s coverage and the paper in nature are much better, but lemmings aren’t known particularly well for their click-through rate so…
