Lancer is a... weird little guy? I dunno even though I really liked undertale I didn't really vibe with deltarune and never played past ep1. I do vaguely remember having fun fighting him.

Soooo, uh, yeah, that's Lancer I guess. I'd love to hear about everybody's favourite little weirdos.

Sister asked my mom (who I'm assuming would be the supportive one) how she'd react if I was gay and she refused to respond, how over is it chat?

It's not necessarily over, since parents can come around once their child comes our. But there doesn't seem to be a big possibility of things going smoothly anymore.

Coincidentally, this type of reaction to probing is exactly why I haven't come out of the closet either lol

Honestly how crazy would I have to be to think they'd be any kind of supportive. They don't even like gays and I've always seemed like a normal, but depressed, guy. FML

Parents are hard to judge. My father I thought would respond badly and came around so quickly. On the other my parents-in-law seemed really accepting and woah they reacted poorly.

a lot of parents don't even know how they will react themselves until it happens. my mum had christian brainworms and was all "it's a sin! eternal damnation will await you!" blah blah whatever. but after i came out she was all "a loving god wouldn't condemn my child to hell for being a removed"

  • I assumed my mom would have tried to be more supportive when I first realized I was trans (until my brother brought a trans boyfriend home...) and I assumed my step-mom would have been more disapproving (even if I assumed she wouldn't express it much directly).

By the time I actually came out though, I suspected the biggest problem I'd have is I'd have to deal with my mom's dysphoria (egg?), and that turned out more true than I even expected.
