Not to say this in a fed way, but I'm surprised they haven't been shot yet. Aren't there tons of guns in the Midwest?

The man they killed was armed

He wasn’t armed when they killed him.

Yeah they disarmed him first but it still stands. Just being armed isn’t enough to protect you from ICE. You have to be in an armed squad

I feel like we’re approaching the point where someone won’t give them a chance to disarm them tbh. Not tryna fedpost but the gestapo has clearly established that it’s safer than giving them a chance to shoot first.

The twin cities has what I would describe as a "medium amount of guns" by American large city standards. About 41% of households in the state have a gun, but rural areas skew that a bit (but not by much, given that more than half of Minnesotans live in the twin cities).

Why haven't any Minnesotans shot a fed yet? Partly it's because the feds are traveling in packs and projecting an image of being ready to instantly retaliate against any adventurism. Partly it's because of some discipline among Minnesotans to not escalate the situation in the way the feds want.

They certainly like to project the image of being ready, but from the way they panicked when the gunshots went off, they're clearly scared all the time. Maybe I'm optimistic, but I kind of think a couple of riflemen firing one mag each before running away could have wiped out most or all of that squad while they stumbled around in terror.

The problem is whoever does that gets spotted on 28 different city cameras and however many UAVs the feds have circling the city, then they're dead. I am pretty sure that everybody is running into that problem when they do the mental calculus of Doing Something About This. People don't just need organization (which they also don't have), they need some degree of protection from state reprisals, or at least enough of a belief that they have that that they can act

idk how to solve this but based on hamas still being around I'm going to say we need a lot of tunnels

That's true, surveilance is a massive problem that needs to be overcome somehow. I don't know really much of anything about signals or electronics, but there's gotta be something... and whoever figures out what that something is will have invented the new urban paradigm
