Now that I think about it, when I think of sexuality and fetishizing women, I rarely ever think of the Soviet Union. It's probably a byproduct of western brainworms I grew up with, but we have like the femme fatals from so many western countries (and even Asia which had the dragon lady) and yet communist women are thought up of old wives with babushkas on.
It was a super super common trope to have hot Russian femme fatal spies. Like...most Bond movies, the 1966 Batman movie even had it. It was even parodied in the Venture Bros with Molotov Cocktease
They're doing the same thing now but with Chinese spies.

Weird I'm a child of the 90's-2000's and I hadn't much exposure to the old Bond movies.
Ive never seen a Bond film either. I dont think ive ever seen the Russian Femme Fatal thing played straight but that's cause im more likely to watch a spoof of spy shit than the real deal.
