sometimes i have a pan fried tofu slice (could make more eggy with black salt but i usually just use salt and pepper) on buttered toast with pindjur or whatever savory spread i have on hand. could also just have a tomato sandwich or make a chickpea spread to have on some toast too with other veggies or pickled things.
my favorite breakfast is Vietnamese braised tofu with tomato, just need vegan fish sauce, tofu, tomato, green onion, sugar, and msg. i really really love ful medames too, it's really delicious and absolutely one of the most satisfying breakfast meals.
if i'm really too tired to cook something breakfasty but want something breakfasty and easy i tend to just have some fiber cereal with frozen wild blueberries or cream of wheat or frozen hashbrowns or a vegan cream cheese bagel.
but honestly most times i just eat whatever leftovers i have in the morning lol.
Is ful medames the same as ful mudammas? If so I have made it once before and found it delicious. Had no idea it was a breakfast food. I fw it but found it to be somewhat labor intensive without a food processor. My body craves the fava bean though so maybe I will purchase one.
Edit: those bastards lied to me! I don't need them to be completely smooth! It doesn't even have to be a dip!
yaaaa!!! i never mash mine all the way cause i like having some chunks of fava bean. depending on what i have on hand or don't i omit some ingredients as well as long as i have the main spices i like and such, its just always so good :3

Usually you'd just briefly mash the beans with the back of a fork or a potato masher.
