I read TDS as The Downward Spiral, which could be a view of the president as well

    Has there ever been a clearer example of "failing upwards" than trump? Like, ever in the history of the world?

    I'm sure there have been others. History is written by the victors.... So you aren't going to get an accurate portrayal of someone if they ended up in control of the people writing the history of their ascension.
