I’m sorry to the people of Russia that oppose the war. But fuck putin.
I don’t think Russians oppose the war. Everything I’m reading is somewhere between 75% and most, are for the war.
Oh, and since the war started, Southeast Asia has boomed in Russian holiday-makers. So while their country invades another, its people are tanning on beaches in record numbers.
It's very risky to publicly oppose Putin. Great way to become jailed or dead.
And better they are on a beach than killing Ukranians. The ones that flee are leaving to avoid participating in the conflict.
Meanwhile, Putin needs to die.
Yeah, some random Russian pollster calls you and asks if you approve of the war. Are you honest or are you going to say what they want to hear so they don't report you to someone?
25% is still pretty big portion of the population

No, it’s like saying that literally 3 in every 4 Russians you meet anywhere are all for invading Ukraine, while the remaining 25% aren’t sure, don’t care, or are outright against it.
You know only 44% of Germans voted for Hitler, right?
It's illegal to be publicly against the war. A child drew an anti war image and she's now in foster care and her father under house arrest.

Not sure your point. I'm explaining why Russian polls aren't going to reflect how the people really feel and shouldn't be used to prove internet arguments. Of course it doesn't really matter though. Support, indifference and rejection are indistinguishable when they aren't backup by actions.
That's what I mean. You're hearing the opinions of people in Moscow or St P's; a tiny proportion.
