Jesus that's an intense learning schedule. But impressive! I do similar, but I really hate making my own Anki shit so I usually don't and just write news words down and try to memorize em the less good way until I see the word again. I just use premade Anki decks with similar vocab to my other sources and hope for the best lol
It's not that bad. You only have to make new flashcards once you run out of new sentences on Anki. I do it when I have a work meeting. You just have to get used to it ๐
For anki, using sentences is better because they're easier to learn than individual words. Plus if a word is hard to remember, you can just make another sentence with it. I have the leech threshold set to 2 so if I don't remember something very well, it gets suspended and I can have another go learning it with a different sentence. You can use any source of sentences, not just lingolooper. Graded readers are another good choice. Specifically for Mandarin, Little Fox Chinese is a good source of sentences to mine from beginner level. Also for Mandarin and Japanese specifically, Yomitan can help you make flashcards from sentences more easily, which helps you learn words in context.
Oh I definitely do only sentences, for sure! But the rest is so much hahahah. I've learned a few languages to B2 and 2 to C1. English was school of course, but another was just brute force with books and talking to someone fluent. That worked best by far. But I think we all know that :)
Without a native speaker to constantly talk to, your method sounds pretty effective. I just hate making Anki cards with a passion lol
