MODERATORS
Like everyone in the Midwest US? Ranch goes on everything there.
Once upon a time, I dismissed the adage for the region "Want your dick sucked? Dip it in ranch." as ridiculous... Then I spent some time there. It's not entirely inaccurate. 😶
The inferior version is basically just mayonnaise with herbs, so really it's just making your French fries more French.
Here in the states we pretend that's an aioli.
Hence why all "ranch" not made with buttermilk is an abomination and damn dirty lie
when i was in high school, back in the 1980s. mayo is what all the "cool" kids ordered with their fries. i was not. i just ate 'em plain.
