that's why social media is taking over

journalism lost its purpose as the bastion of research and context and truth over the last 40-50 years (i blame murdoch)

indeed journalism has led us toward social media

at least if you get it from the horse's mouth you can maybe get the facts unfiltered and make your own conclusions by continuing to gather facts and cross reference
