Well since trump has wiped his ass with the constitution so far, I'd say you're dead wrong.
Also, who gives a fuck?
Guns are the #1 cause of death in your country. Normal counties look at situations like that and fix it. This is why this shit doesn't happen daily in any other country in the world, as people there use their brain and don't go "well this 200 year old paper says kids need to be shot, there is nothing we can do!"
