Figured out I think why I was getting pain on my toe.

I think it was because my boots or socks were pushing up against the loose toenail and thus the pain.

I bought a little gel sleeve that’s capped off for my toe and I’ll try that out.

Other option is to put light dressing to buffer it and use tape or Band-Aid to keep it tied on.

I pray something works.

and I would be wrapping it in tape everyday to stabilise it so it doesn't get knocked and pushed

It’s only guess work at best, I hope I have it right about what’s causing the pain or it’s back to the drawing board :(
