when I was real little, I remember wandering around a flea market and seeing a true, literal boomer comic art sign and, even though I didn't understand it, it seared into memory.

it was a man in fishing gear, u to his belly in water, his line cast with a hook. but he wasn't wearing any pants and a fish was putting its mouth on his penis.

the caption said "the happy fisherman". you can image search this phrase with "comic" and find various iterations. CW: gross, weird.

now I am fully grown and it still makes no sense to me. both in concept or the will to own such a sign.
