And now I've found myself watching Deadpool for the first time, believe it or not. Jfc this movie is terrible. Thats ok, I'll still keep watching that garbage. I'm too high to move.

An edible is a food (gummies and brownies are both very typical) with added thc, the main thing in weed that gets you high. Edibles last longer then smoking and it's pretty common for people to take too much.

It's pretty common for edibles to contain a lot of thc, imo too much. Because of that people tend to take a half or even just a bite. There's not really a standard amount like there is with some drugs but it sounds like OP took quite a bit lol.
