[–] picnic@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 year ago (4 children) yup, but in exchange would you give up the refund process that we now have? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 8 child comments replies: [–] A_Random_Idiot@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago* I've only had 3 refunds. 2 on the old system, 1 on the new system. All were accepted and refunded, because all were for technical issues that made them literally, factually unplayable.. and probably because in 10 years of steam I've only had 3 refunds. So Yes, because it wouldnt change anything for me. permalink fedilink source parent [–] HiddenLychee@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago Yes because by the time I actually get passed the character creator or the introduction I've usually already used up my time permalink fedilink source parent [–] Squirrel 1 point 1 year ago Personally, yes. permalink fedilink source parent [–] dogs0n@sh.itjust.works 1 point 1 year ago (2 children) Has the refund process changed? From what I remember it has always been very easy to refund? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] CaptPretentious@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago Well, the refund policy has only existed 10 years now. Well in it's current form. Previously refunds were much harder to get. permalink fedilink source parent [–] A_Random_Idiot@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago they were easy to get if the game was a scam or if you had serious unresolvable technical issues, but not so easy if you just impulse bought a game and regretted it. Australia sued Valve due to their refund policy and Valve changed the refund policy to what it is today. permalink fedilink source parent
